Sun Valley Multi-Campus Update

2017 has been an incredible year for Arizona's Sun Valley Community Church, led by Pastor Chad Moore. In January, they welcomed the new year by opening the doors to SVCC's 5th campus in Queen Creek; a young, fast-growing community. SVCC's mission of helping people meet, know and follow Jesus has truly come to life since the start of this campus.

In addition to the community reach, the Queen Creek campus neighbors Canyon State Academy, a
private school that offers temporary and long-term shelter, as well as a
variety of programs and services for male youth. Over the past year, God has
developed the relationship that SV Queen Creek has with Canyon State in
miraculous ways. The Sun Valley staff has taken an active role in the lives of
these youth by hosting special events for the school like Prom, and attending
football games and other sporting events. Alternately, many of the staff and
students from the school are getting involved in what the church is doing, and
as a result, many have said “YES” to Jesus and have been baptized. There’s not
doubt God is at work in and through the people of SV Queen Creek.

Even after the launch of Queen Creek, 2017 proves to be a fast-paced and fruitful season for Sun
Valley. The East Mesa campus, which sits in the heart of the developing
community of Eastmark, has had steady growth over the last couple of years and
space has always been a sought-after necessity. In mid-August, East Mesa added
Saturday service times to its weekend worship opportunities, becoming Sun
Valley’s second campus to offer a Saturday worship experience. Now providing
even more opportunities for its members and the surrounding community to be
involved, East Mesa isn’t slowing down and the excitement surrounding this
launch is contagious. Sun Valley has further plans to build-out this campus to
better serve those who attend, and create a space that will continue to help
more and more people meet, know, and follow Jesus.

The Sun Valley Casa Grande campus also is going through some exciting changes. For the last 5 years, Casa Grande has been meeting in a local high school, setting up and packing up church
faithfully each weekend. On September 3rd, Casa Grande hosted its final
services at Vista Grande High School and has spent the last couple of weeks
moving into their new, permanent location. Those who lead, serve, and attend at
Casa Grande have spent countless hours preparing for their big Grand Opening
launch on September 24th, at which time they will also introduce a 3rd worship
service. Sun Valley has already seen how God is answering prayers in and
through the Casa Grande community and the future is bright.

It has been an amazing journey thus far for Sun Valley Community Church, but the biggest blessing -
what is celebrated each weekend on all campuses - is the real life change that
happens through the countless individuals who have said “YES” to Jesus. 2017
has truly been and exciting time for Sun Valley Community Church, but there is still much yet to be done and the people of SVCC are hopeful for the future that God has put before them.
